TSE (Tallinn) - Estonian Stock Market overview

This week OMX Tallinn Index had a bit suprisingly a slight increase of 1,55%. The biggest winners of last week were Arco Vara (ARC1T) +12,50%, Tallink Grupp (TAL1T) +12,12% and Trigon Property Development (TBD1T) +11,54%. Among losers we find Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG1T) -20,41% and Viisnurk (VSN1T) -18,48%.

Turnover of this week was 5 194 795,79 EUR. Almost half of it was gained by Eesti Telekom  (ETLAT), which ended the week with a small increase of 1,55%.

Arco Vara succeeded in increasing its share price by 12,50%. That indeed is a good result. The cause of this significant rise can be the fact that on the 8th of December they announced that signed an agreement to design and construct drinking water system. Contract volume is EEK 60.7 mln without VAT.

As predicted last week, Tallink Grupp (TAL1T) has found its floor and this week its share price even increased of 12,12%. The stock price is now 0,37. The positive announcement of last week has had an effect in favour of their stock price.

One of the losers of this week, Viisnurk (VSN1T) suffered a decrease of -18,48% in its share price. The price feel from 0,92 to 0,75. The reason for this fall may be the fact that Viisnurk announced that they have estimated  a decrease of retail sales , which forces the company to send more than 200 employees to partial work-time.

All in all, investors are cautious and they should be.  Situation in the market creates pessimism.
