SSE (Stockholm) Market Overviews
Stockholm Stock Market Overview23/01/2006-27/01/2006
This week we will continue the observation of one previously discussed company, Nobel Biocare Holding AG (NOBE). The company’s stock value is still increasing, and increasing rapidly. The second company which will be under discussion today is SSAB Svenskt Stål AB ser. A (SSAB A), which shares also grew in price significantly in the last 5 trading days. And in the end, the company with name Autoliv Inc. SDB (ALIV SDB), which was loosing its stock value since Monday, will also be of interest.
As it was expected previously, Nobel Biocare Holding AG (NOBE), which is one of the biggest organizations in the world offering esthetic dental solutions, faced a further rise in share price during the working week. The last value on a share, which was fixed on Friday, was bigger than € 112, it is more than € 6.39 growth since the last overview. Due to the successful consequences of a completely new format world tour, organized by the company, it is logical that Nobel Biocare is expecting a rapid growth of its stock market. Perhaps, the next week will also bring some positive changes in the company’s stock value.
Another company with the second most successful performance on the Stock Exchange after Nobel Biocare is SSAB Svenskt Stål AB ser. A (SSAB A), which plans are to become “a specialist steel company in the commercial steel sector”. The company’s share price increased by approximately 10% since Monday to € 20.7 per share. Such change in price could be explained by the recent events around SSAB. Just before the New Year the company won Swedish Steel Prize 2005, after that it started experiencing sharp rises in its stock value. The tendency of further share price increasing is also possible the next week.
And finally, Autoliv Inc. SDB (ALIV SDB), the world leader of automobiles safety equipment, is a company which has lost much of its stock value during the latest week. Since the begging of the trading its shares fell in price by 6% and reached the lowest point since the New Year. The price was fluctuating about € 24.28 during the month and completely plummeted last Friday to € 23.57. Despite the award for "Outstanding Performance" given to the company by General Motors on Jan. 18; the stock value of the company started decreasing just on Monday. According to the press releases published Autoliv webpage, on Jan. 31 the company finishes trading their shares until all the dividends will have been paid during the next month. Probably, the price of a share will be fluctuating around present one and can start increasing in the nearest future.
