Lithuanian Stock Market is still not very successful comparing with other countries. During this week 25 companies experienced falls in their market value. It is even more than previous week. Just 14 companies have increased their market value. The biggest turnover 1,270,281.66EUR was made by the Lietuvos telekomas (LTK1L). However, the biggest share value this week was made by Gubernija (GUB1L). Their share value increased from 0.41EUR to 0.44EUR by 6.43%. The significant decrease by 12.90% was shown by Alytaus tekstile (ATK1L). As you have noticed the share value during the last few weeks of this company is very unsteady. So this week ended with 5,215,816.19EUR turnover and 2113 deals in overall.
Lietuvos Telekomas (LTK1L) the biggest telecommunication company in Lithuania. This company showed us the biggest turnover of this week it is 1,270,281.66EUR. It is obvious that this company is so successful just because they have a great expansion tactics. This week the company made 319 deals and it is the biggest deals number during this week. However, the share price value has decreased by 4.41%. From the historical graph we can notice that the share value has been decreasing during the last few weeks.
Pieno Žvaigždės (PZV1L) is one of the biggest diary products producers in Lithuania. This week has shown the annual increase in sales to 128 millions EUR. It was driven by export, which boosted 18%, as well as by domestic sales, which increased by 9%. This week their share value has increased by 0.84%. They made a turnover of 56,402.12EUR and 28 deals.
Kauno tiekimas (KTK1L), a wholesale and retail trade company in Lithuania, reached one of the smallest turnovers in Lithuanian Stock Market, 4,580.15 EUR, even though its value of shares increased by 2.11% from 0.38 EUR to 0.42 EUR. However, the company managed to make only 12 deals during this week. On January 26th, 2006, the firm sold its 12,205 shares of JSC “Vakuolė” which compounded 5.95%.
